PP_93 That Lois Wood (93) was the mother of John Cooke (46)
The birth of John the son of Isaac Cooke and Lois his wife on 5 September 1791 was recorded in a Quaker ceremony in Worcester. PP_92
In 1812 Isaac Cooke handed over his trade in China and Glass in Cheltenham  to his son John Cooke. A_1812
Lois Cooke, wife of Isaac Cooke, died on 7 November 1821 in Cheltenham aged 60 (born c. 1761). D_1821
Isaac Cooke of Worcester, glover, married Lois Wood of Worcester on 29 December 1784 in a Quaker ceremony. This records that Isaac Cooke was the son of Samuel Cooke, a cordwainer, and Ann his wife, and that Lois Wood was the daughter of John Wood of Maidstone, Kent, papermaker, and Mary his wife. M_1784
Lois, daughter of John Wood of Upton, was baptised in Burford on 18 June 1762. B_1762
John Wood of Upton had 3 other daughters baptised in Burford between 1765 and 1770, Sarah in 1765, Mary in 1767, and Lydia in 1770.
John Wood, a papermaker, married Mary Rich in Burford on 10 July 1760. The groom being a papermaker as in 1784, and the couple having daughters named Lois and Lydia - names which were passed down in the Cooke family later, confirm that these are the parents of Isaac Cooke's wife. M_1760
So the mother of John Cooke (46),
Lois Wood (93), born in 1762 in Burford, PP_187
married to Isaac Cooke (92) in 1784 in Worcester,
died in 1821 in Gloucester, was the daughter of
John Wood (186), and Mary Rich (187). PP_186

PP_186 That John Wood (186) was the father of Lois Wood (93)
