PP_1203 That Ruth Dixon (1203) was the mother of Naomi Bury (601)
In his will in 1668, Thomas Bury mentions his elder son Leonard, and Leonard's children Thomas, Ann, John and Samuel (that is, no Naomi).  W_1668
Ruth Dixon married Leonard Bury in 1667 as his second wife, so the children above must be from Leonard's first wife Margaret Dent. M_1667
In his will in 1695, Samuel Dixon, vicar of Buckminster, mentions his daughter Ruth Bury, and his grandchildren Leonard Bury and Naomi Stephenson. W_1695
Naomi and Leonard must be children of Leonard by his second wife Ruth Dixon, and Naomi must have been born around 1670 - as her first child was born in 1792.
This proves that Naomi Bury was the daughter of Ruth Dixon, and that Ruth was the daughter of Samuel Dixon.

PP_2406 That Samuel Dixon (2406) was the father of Ruth Dixon (1203)
This is proved above.
Ruth Dixon was baptized in Edmondthorpe in 1645, daughter of Samuel Dixon 'clerke' and Dorothy. B_1645
Samuel Dixon and Dorothy Kinge married a year before in Edmondthorpe in 1644. M_1644
Samuel Dixon finished his MA at Cambridge in 1640, was ordained a priest and appointed vicar of Buckminster in 1641. C_1640

PP_4812 That John Dixon (4812) was the father of Samuel Dixon (2406)
Samuel Dixon was baptized in 1616 in Loughborough, the son of John Dixon, with elder sisters Abigail and Sarah, and a younger brother Thomas. B_1616
He and his siblings are mentioned in the will of their father John Dixon, a baker, in 1635. W_1635
They are also named in the will of their mother Gertrude Dixon, widow, in 1649, as Samuel Dixon's eldest daughters Ruth and Ann Dixon. W_1649

PP_9624 That John Dixon (9624) was the father of John Dixon (4812)
Samuel Dixon's eldest sister was baptized in 1608 in Loughborough.
No marriage of John Dixon and Gertrude has come to light.
John is likely to have been born in the early 1580s.
His parents are likely to be the John Dixon and Frances Wisse married in Loughborough in 1578. M_1578
John Dixon likely died in Loughborough in 1616, but no will has been found. D_1616
A Frances Dixon died in Loughborough in 1622, but again no will has been found. D_1622
